How to use the calculator
To count days between two dates: choose Count days between dates, then pick the start and end dates. You’ll see the total days, the same period in weeks and in years, months and days, and the number of working days.
To find a date in the future or past: choose Add or subtract days, pick a start date and type the number of days. You’ll see the resulting date, its day of the week and its Hijri date.
Counting the end date
From 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026 is 364 days. If you count both the first and the last day, it’s 365 days. Tick Include the end date when you need to count both, for example for the length of a leave period.
Working days
Working days count every day except the weekend you choose: Friday and Saturday in Saudi Arabia, or Saturday and Sunday. Public holidays aren’t removed, so subtract them yourself when you need an exact figure.
